A portrait of seas wrinkled by human activity, cut by the grooves of the boats and nets
that cross them. While fishermen in Europe see the sea emptying out, endangering their activity
in West Africa, the same scarcity of resources is driving many fishermen to emigrate.

experts and fishermen do not all agree on the current state of the resource, it cannot be denied that,
as in so many other areas, the large-scale industrial impact of mankind is jeopardising
the ecological balance of the oceans.

This documentary was produced in partnership with Blinkl, creator of an augmented storytelling platform, and with the support
with transmedia writing support from the Fédération Wallonie Bruxelles Image and development aid from the Centre National du Cinéma.

To open the exhibitions, a sound performance based on the project's video images was produced in collaboration with
with composer Eric Desjeux. This installation is presented on three screens.
The DREMMWEL project comprises a photographic exhibition with augmented content, a medium-length film
(24min) and a sound performance based on visual creation.
