Festival sur le Milo à Kankan - Septembre 2022

Guinée

A river is a living whole on the geographical, economic, cultural, social, historical levels... It is the meaning of this festival on the Milo that to gather all these elements.

From September 21 to 25, 2022 was held in the Nabaya, the first edition of this event, allowing to lay the foundations of a reflection on the essence of this river. This annual meeting of music and arts was articulated around several components: international day of peace with the United Nations, book market (Kankan), giant concerts, symposium on the river, traditional events and African film screenings.

This project aims to promote and enhance artistic and cultural expressions for living together in this region. Dogon representatives from Mali and many personalities came for a few days to share their ideas with a large and attentive local population.

This film is a testimony of it.
To be continued...
